We offer fish and tree sales twice a year, in spring and fall. The forms are also sent by email so please make sure you have your email listed with us.
Habitat Grant
The Whiteside Co. SWCD is offering Habitat Grants to landowners that will be starting new projects. The grant is to help cover the cost of planting native grasses and shrubs, but no hardwoods. You are eligible to receive up to 25% of your total bills or $2,500 max. We ask that you send in a letter stating your plan of the project, a list of the species you'd like to use, and a cost estimate of the project. If you have any questions, call our office at 815-772-2124 ext. 3.
Illinois Pheasants Forever Seed Program
Partnering with Illinois Pheasants Forever, we are a habitat seed dealer. We offer food plot, prairie grass, cool season, fire break, pollinator seed mixes and more.
